The Founders
Dr. Michael Jarratt has over 25 years experience in clinical research. He attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, interned in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Medical Center, and completed his residency in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Since 1984, when Dr. Jarratt and his family moved to Austin, he has had an active dermatology practice and conducted clinical research. Prior to 1984, he was a member of the Dermatology Faculty at Baylor School of Medicine for 10 years. Dr. Jarratt is Board Certified in Dermatology.
Ms. Martha Withers is co-founder and President of DermResearch and has served in that role since the company was established in 1996. Prior to her time at DermResearch, Martha worked as a Project Manager at PPD. Ms Withers has a background in nursing and has worked in clinical research for 18 years. She obtained ACRP Certification in 1993 and is a member of DIA and ACRP.
The Investigator Team
In addition to Dr. Jarratt, our team of investigators includes physicians board-certified in dermatology, neurology, internal medicine, and gynecology.
