The Leadership Team
Dr. Michael Jarratt: Principle Investigator and co-founder of DermResearch
Dr. Jarratt has over 25 years experience in clinical research. He attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, interned in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Medical Center, and completed his residency in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Since 1984, when Dr. Jarratt and his family moved to Austin, he has had an active dermatology practice and conducted clinical research. Prior to 1984, he was a member of the Dermatology Faculty at Baylor School of Medicine for 10 years. Dr. Jarratt is Board Certified in Dermatology.
Ms. Martha Withers: President and co-founder of DermResearch
Ms. Withers has served as President since the company was established in 1996. Prior to starting DermResearch, Martha worked as a Project Manager at Pharmaco (and later PPD). Ms. Withers has a background in nursing and has worked in clinical research for over 20 years. She is a member of DIA and ACRP.
Justin Withers: Director of Clinical Operations
Justin joined the DermResearch team in 2008 after working as a designer, producer, and project lead in the videogame industry for eight years. Companies he worked for include Acclaim Entertainment, Nintendo of America, and Electronic Arts. He has a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MBA from Tulane University.
The Investigator Team
In addition to Dr. Jarratt, our team of investigators includes physicians board-certified in dermatology, neurology, internal medicine, and gynecology.
