· 10,000 square feet of office space including offices for staff members, two large conference rooms, four dedicated monitor rooms with wireless internet access
· A 400 sq. ft. secure and temperature-controlled drug storage room including commercial-grade locking refrigerators, temperature monitors, and high/low/power outage alarms
· Our lab houses a refrigerated centrifuge and four sub-zero freezers including one minus 80, one large minus 20 and two smaller minus 20 models. The freezers have constant temp tracking and remote alarm capabilities so someone on staff will receive an email and text if either freezer goes out of range.
· Nearby hospitals and support locations for procedures such as x-rays, eye exams, and MRI’s
DermResearch offers a very comfortable clinical trial experience in our 14 bed PK area. Certain studies may require participants to stay in our facilities from 12-48 hours at a time. During those stays, participants can expect to eat meals from several of Austin’s many great local restaurants including: Craig O’s Pizza, Austin Java, Taco Shack, Taco Deli, Torchy’s Tacos (we like tacos), Texadelphia, and many more. There are a lot of great food options in Austin! Overnight facilities include several seating areas for eating and lounging with plenty of table space and lounge chairs and couches, HD cable TV, a Ms. PacMan arcade machine, an assortment of console videogames , wireless internet, lockers for storage, and numerous magazines and books.
